For the past year or so, I've been to this shop several times. Last Year November soon after it opened, i even gave it a 5 star review on Facebook as i had got to know the owner well, we spoke on many occasions. Just recently the owner advertised he was buying records, so i contacted him personally asked what genres is he looking for and derived a total of 300+ out of my own collection to bring to him to sell based on what he told me. Most of what i brought him were items i had for sell here on discogs, been wetcleaned, provided protectors, inspected/graded/testplayed etc. NO JUNK thats is for sure. loaded up two large plastic tubs and met with him today. out of the 320 records i brought him, he made an offer just on 2(two) records, one of which was a brand new Tom Petty Greatest Hits double lp record i had bought here online.I played it just once, so it was NM as it gets. he offered me half of what he pays for it wholesale, just $11.and the other record was a NM first pressing Debarge album ( offer was vague but it was less that $5). owner stated in first contact to bring it all in, yet when i get there i hear the back peddling sap story of how he has 10,000 at home and not really buying. so why wait until i hand carry 320 records in two heavy bins to him to change his direction altogether? So i went to his site just under his " I buy records" advertisement and factually dictated my experience, no embellishments or derogatory remarks- just the facts, which he immediately removed. yet he has not removed my 5 star review i gave him in November last year which i requested him to do. Make of this what you will, i just know that as someone who helped promote his business, contacted him before hand and geared what i brought to him based solely upon his requests to have this happen to me, its an insult. I wont be going back there again.

Disgruntled customer who was upset that we didn't buy his vinyl records!!!

Just a reminder to those of you looking to sell your vinyl... we only except vinyl that is in "sellable" condition. We do not except damaged or records you would typically see in the bins at goodwill. If you are emotionally attached to your collection we do not recommend that you try to sell them! Most record stores will only give you 25 to 50% of what they can sell it for.

Vinyl Oasis strives to provide our customers with great selection at reasonable prices. In our backroom "Flip n Dig" section we offer vinyl for as low as $.99 cents to $1.99. We look forward to continue to provide this popular way to buy good titles at reasonable prices.

Note: We will not buy back records that you buy from our "flip n dig" section! (Please don't abuse the system!)
